A NAS is not a backup

Great news, you’ve got your shiny new NAS up and running. You must start thinking of a backup plan.

A few months ago, we finally migrated to FreeNAS and built a Unraid as well. FreeNAS is the primary storage. It syncs to unraid twice a day. It also syncs to a standalone 8Tb harddisk that is in my own Primary PC.

From the primary PC, the same set of data is sync to Opendrive. I was using Backblaze a few years ago. It is great but the price increased and I’ve moved out since. Backblaze do not support backing up of mapped network drive.
